ANDY'S BIG NIGHT: Forward Anderson Varejao's first career 3-pointer with 17.2 seconds left was the game-winner for the Cavs.

"There was one second (left)," Varejao said. "All I could do is shoot the ball and I'm glad it went in.

"No, I wasn't the primary option. I just tried to space out and make myself available."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Cavs forward LeBron James turned 25 on Wednesday. He had a party planned later that night in downtown Cleveland.

NOTES: Guard Mo Williams had scored 20 or more points in five consecutive games. That was snapped in Wednesday. He finished with 14 points and tied his season high with 10 assists.

-- James' 48-point effort was the most he's ever scored at The Q.

-- The Cavs are 16-3 against teams that had a .500 record the day of the game.
