WHAT HAPPENED: The Cavs have lost more consecutive games - 24 - than any team in NBA history. Think about that. Think of all the teams through the years since the NBA was founded in 1946. The league changed its name to NBA in 1949.

We're splitting hairs. I wanted to give readers a brief history lesson to feel the magnitude of the losing streak. While we're on the subject, expect the losing streak to keep going - at least one more game. They play at Dallas on Monday, then return home to face Detroit on Wednesday.

The Cavs have also lost 33 of their last 34 games. Not a bad stretch, huh?

They appear to be getting closer to winning. They probably should have won their last three games. They choke down the stretch of games, however, and find a way to lose.

Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, snubbed from the West All-Star team, made his lone appearance at The Q this season. He's the only player in the West to average at least 20 points, nine rebounds and one steal per game.

Since Dec. 15, he's averaging 25 points and 10.3 rebounds. He finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
