Game 59: Magic at Cavs

ORLANDO MAGIC (35-25) 100, CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (20-39) 84

Quicken Loans Arena
Sunday
Radio/TV: WTAM (1100 AM)/Fox Sports Ohio

WHAT HAPPENED: The Cavs totally ran out of gas on Sunday. It was the third game in three nights, and they played like it.

It was a terribly ragged game. No flow. No continuity and a heck of a lot of turnovers (18). That led to 23 points by the Magic.

They finished 1-2 in the three games, winning the middle game on Saturday. The Cavs weren't able to win without forward Luke Harangody on Sunday. He went back to the D-League on Sunday for the Charge's playoff game.

NBA teams are 19-19 this year playing on the third game in three nights.

Sunday's game was almost unwatchable. The Magic played without center Dwight Howard, who has a herniated disk in his back. Big Baby Davis started at center and was knocked out with a knee injury in the first quarter.

That gave the Magic a look at little-used Daniel Orton, and they had to like what they saw. He had 11 points, four rebounds, five steals and three blocks.

Cavs guard Lester Hudson played just 16 minutes and had just six points. Coach Byron Scott wanted to see more of Manny Harris, who had 10 points and four rebounds.

UP NEXT: The Cavs travel to Detroit at 7:30 Tuesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
